King & Queen (The Monarchs): The leaders of their Clan. They're depended on by their clan mates to protect them and do what's best in their interest. Some Monarchs keep their position by strength alone using fear and pain to keep their position. Others don't posses mighty strength, but knowledge that benefits the pack more then any other. If the majority of the pack doesn't approve of the current leaders they will overthrow them. That is if they can.
One doesn't become a Monarch by blood, but by the choosing of the present monarchs before they step down. If the present leader has been overthrown, the pack decides who will be their next leader.
Commander: The Commander is second in command. Whenever the monarchs aren't present the pack looks up to the commander for guidance. The commander can be a male or female. An animal is in this position if the leader(s) put him or her at it.
Interpreter: There is only one animal that holds this position. They can be either male or female. One who holds this rank are close to the Gods of the land. When in need they are seen praying to the Gods for help. They are usually the only ones that the Gods come to in person on behalf of their clan. Once they interpret what the Gods want they'll tell it to the Monarchs and commander in a meeting.
They are also the medics of the clan so to speck. They are knowledgeable about how to take care of the sick and injured. (No 'Betty puts a Band-Aid on Greg's paw to make it all better' type of things. Use nature as your tools.)
Interpreter Apprentice: There is only one that holds this position. It can be male or female. This rank is learning how to become the next Interpreter if something should happen to the current one. They tend to be close to the Gods or trying to be if not. The interpeter takes him/her with him/her everywhere she/he goes usually unless they are needed somewhere else.
Elite Warriors(s): Everybody is entitled to protect the clan, but the Elite Warriors are the best of the best, Literally. They're the toughest and strongest in the clan. Brains counts too when considering this rank because the clan doesn't need the Elite to be muscled brainless goons. When calamity hits these ranks are on the front line. The warriors under them are expected to listen to the Elite's commands if it is within reason.
Warriors(s): They are the best fighters of the clan. They can be seen sharpening their skills with the Elite on days that nothing is happening. In order to get this rank, one needs to prove their strength in a trail observed by the Monarchs and commander. A trail usually consists of fighting a stronger creature. If you donft have brains donft worry. This position doesnft require it.
Elite Hunter(s): This rank is just how it sounds; The best of the best hunters in the clan. They’ve proven themselves to be top notch hunters that rarely miss their target. In a hunt, if the Monarchs or commander isn’t there (which most the time they wonft be), they construct the hunting plan and formation.
Hunter(s): The best hunters in the clan besides the Elite Hunters. They follow what the Elites say while hunting in hopes of one day becoming an Elite themselves. If they come up with a plan for hunting they tell the Elite(s) that are hunting with them about it. If the plan is a good one itfs a giant step closer to being an Elite..
Elite Scout(s): The best of the best eyes and ears of the clan. They try to see and hear the events that are going on within their territory. They are the fastest and most graceful of the clan. They tend to be the ones the higher ups send on missions to retrieve information inconspicuously or pass on information quickly. They are also the ones that roam their clan’s territory in search of trespassers and renewing scent borders. Creatures in this rank aren’t usually that strong, but strong enough to escape from a predicament if need be.
Scout(s): The best eyes and ears of the clan. They follow the Elites around trying to learn all they need to in order to transition to an Elite Scout. One or two scouts will usually go with the Elite scouts on their missions. Once again, you need to fast and graceful to hold this position.
Sitter(s): This rank is usually held by two or three females, but there can be male sitters. They watch over and care for the cubs/kittens when the whole clan is away or busy. When a mother is giving birth they tend to her every whim and need. They also make sure cubs don’t venture too far from the den before they are ready.
Subordinate(s): Creatures in this rank are here because they haven’t been given a rank suited to them either by the Monarch’s decision or their own. One can remain at this rank forever if they so choose. This rank takes on odd jobs within the clan whenever needed. Ex. If there aren’t any hunters they help the hunting party. Etc.
Sikla: Siklas are given this rank not by the clan, but by the Gods so to speak. It is an honor to birth a Sikla cub as it is an honor to have one or more in your clan. Sikla are distinguishable by the sky blue circle marking on their forehead. They cause tranquility within their clan whenever they are near by. No creature touched by knowledge can cause physical harm to them. They also tend to attract the opposite genders attention a lot more too. Unlike other creatures, dominance means nothing to them for they are an exception to it. A Sikla is so desired by packs and clans that if found existing in a rival group they tend try to steal them away or convince them to leave their pack or clan. In a way, they are the glue that can hold a pack or clan together.
Elders: They are usually the elderly members of the clan or severely injured that can no longer hold their positions. The clan respects them and comes to them for advice and guidance. They are also the storytellers of the clan.
Adolescent(s): Yearlings. They’ve just hit the first mile stone in their life. During this time they mingle among the adults to find what rank would suit them best and to help out when advised.
Cub(s): The heart of the clan. If somebody hurts a cub all hell brakes loose. Since they are the future they are protected fiercely.
Outcast(s): If one find themselves here. They’ve done something to make their pack members extremely upset. They are the last to eat or drink. They are always picked on or beaten up. The pack as a whole keeps an eye on them. If they go near the cubs bad things will follow them.
