A white wolf ran through an group of evergreen trees. The lower branches of the trees collided with his body but he didn't care, he just continued to run. Why he was running? He was playing tag with a small rabbit, though the rabbit didn't know this and was running for it's life. He wasn't hunting the rabbit, he wasn't even hungry he just wanted someone to play with.
The rabbit was darting through the trees trying to get away from Shiro but he wasn't able to. Shiro was catching up to the little rabbit and when he was right behind him, Shiro jumped. He landed on top of the rabbit and had him trapped. Shiro could feel the rabbits rapid breathing.
He let go of the rabbit. The rabbit didn't move but just stared at Shiro. Shiro leaned down until his face was a few centimeters away from the rabbit. He smiled and showed off his teeth to the rabbit.
"Tag, your it," he said. After he said that Shiro started running again leaving a shocked white rabbit in the middle of the forest. Shiro was laughing now.
The evergreen forest opened up to a bare field with small bushes scattered around. It was the edge of the Plateau. Shiro looked behind him. The rabbit wasn't chasing him.
"Looks like no one wants to play with me," he said sadly. He walked over to the edge of the plateau and sat down. He laid his head down on the rock and looked over at the rest of Izaria.
"I wish I could go down there," he said to no one. It was early summer and it was too hot for him now. He would have to wait until winter to go down there. He sighed.

Equinox's jet black coat stood out against the alabaster landscape, but he cared little. He welcomed the harsh desolateness, and reveled in the cold. His coat had thickened to withstand all but the worst fall weather, and of course, the biting winters drove him into the warmer lowlands. He trotted along the treeline, until he caught scent of another wolfen. He checked his pace and cast about, although it was not long before he heard the huffing of the other's breath and the crashing footfalls of his reckless charge.
He could just barely see the white wolf, smaller than himself, though faster, pounce on the rabbit. He had just about decided to claim the other's kill when the wolf jumped up and crashed away through the trees, leaving behind the unharmed, though terrified, prey. In the moment of his confusion as he watched the other flee, the rabbit escaped into the underbrush, its coat hiding it against the snow. Equinox cursed his luck, and took up flight following the other.
He came out of the treeline to see the other cast himself down in apparent disappointment. 'Was he wanting the rabbit to chase him,' thought Equionox, once again confused. Then a jagged grin cracked his maw. 'Well maybe I should give him a reason to run.' He settled into a crouch, waited, then lauched all his bulk towards the other wolf, hoping to send him into flight.

Shiro could hear something behind him. Whoever they were they were not good at sneaking up on people in the snow. Shiro could hear the snow crunch under their feet. 'They are getting closer," Shiro thought to himself. He decided to act like he had not heard them and wait until they got closer.
They went quiet suddenly and he could hear more snow compacting under their weight. 'Attacking me?' he asked himself. He waited a few seconds than rolled out of the way just missing the other. He landed on his feet and faced the wolf. A jet black wolf that was a bit taller than him and seemed much heavier than he was.
He waited for the other wolf to make his move.

Whoooomphhhhhh! Face first into the snow and a very undignified rolling stop. The other wolf was good, and, as Equinox had expected, fast. "Very good," he said, his voice a deep growling rumble. "I take it you heard me coming?" There seemed little point in waiting for a response he knew, so he charged ahead without waiting for one. "You seemed disappointed that your dinner didn't follow you. Perhaps you want something with a little more bite chasing after?" He clicked his teeth together for emphasis, but made sure his ears were perked and his eyes playful. He was bored to tell the truth, and felt in the mood for a little amusement.

Shiro had to hold in a laugh when the other fell into the snow face first. 'Of course I heard you coming,' Shiro told himself. He saw the other wolf charge at him and he dodge him. He felt a smile form on his face. 'Looks like I found someone to play a game with,' he was excited now, this was much better than chasing rabbits.
"Perhaps I do want something more challenging chasing me," he said with excitement in his voice. "By the looks of it I will be playing the part of the rabbit and you, the wolf." Shiro looked back at the black wolf before taking off into the forest. He wasn't as clumsy as he had been before. He didn't run into any of the lower branches, he maneuvered around them with ease.

Zelda was walking though the forest. She seen a black wolf walk by, trying to hide. She followed, she seen him jump at another white wolf for no reason, she could barly contain her rage. The white wolf hadn't done a thing but sit there. When it ran of she jumped out and had the black wolf blocked from chasing the other white wolf. Snarling she asked:"Why did you attack him he wasn't doing a thing to provoke you." She was shaking with fury. Why had the black wolf attacked? If he didn't answer her he was going to be sorry

(OOC: Luna, please refrain from god-moding. Meaning you can attempt to pin someone down, but you can't just oughtright do it as that would give you more control over someones character than is allowed. The reason why is because doing something like that gives you an advantage in battle and also makes it easy for you to kill someone elses character, which is unfair to others. It is their choice to either allow you to pin them down or not, though after a third attempt at doing something the defensive character must allow the offensive character's attack to achieve, to varying levels of degrees, success.)

Equinox growled at being laughed at. He was NOT amused to be someone else's amusement. When he missed the second time, he again went rolling in the snow. Now, he was upset. Then he caught sight of the white wolf's face. He was smiling, he was ENJOYING humiliating Equinox. "Perhaps I do want something more challenging chasing me. By the looks of it I will be playing the part of the rabbit and you, the wolf."
"You'll be playing the rabbit, all right," roared Equinox. He gathered his bulk and prepared to hunt down the other, who, he noticed, was not as flat-footed as he had previously been acting. He was almost back to the trees when a snarl stopped him short, and another white wolf blocked him. "Why did you attack him? He wasn't doing a thing to provoke you." He laughed. He threw his head back and howled with laughter. A little arctic wolf thinking she could stop a full grown dire!?
She was shaking in her steps; fear, fury, both? Equinox didn't care. He dropped his massive muzzle level with hers and grinned, showing his oversize pearly fangs. "Step out of my way little, pup," he said, teeth clicking together dangerously. "I wouldn't want to stain the ground with your blood. I'm far more interested in a game of 'wolf-and-rabbit', anyway." He then went to step around her; after all, in his mind, he had no further reason to speak to her.

PUP Zelda had never been more insulted in her life. She bites at the black wolfs hind leg as he goes around her and jumps back growling and showing her teeth. She might be small but that made her much faster than this big lubex who couldn't even walk silently in the snow.

Shiro heard the snarl behind him and went back to where he had challenged the other wolf to chase him. He heard the other white wolf's voice, "Why did you attack him he wasn't doing a thing to provoke you," the other said. He heard the black wolf laugh at her.
'What is she doing? He wasn't attacking me!' he started to think as he watched the two from the forest, "Does she really want to die over something as small as this.
He watched the wolf drop to her level and grinned, showing his oversize pearly fangs. "Step out of my way little, pup," he told her. She didn't move. "I wouldn't want to stain the ground with your blood. I'm far more interested in a game of 'wolf-and-rabbit', anyway." He started to step around her and then she bite his back legs.
"Stop!" he called out to the two wolves.

((OOC: You're still power-playing Luna, you could lunge at my leg, but you can't bite it unless I play out that you have.))
He was close enough to feel her start at his insult. 'So she doesn't like being called a pup, does she?' he thought. He had been turning back to throw another few words at her when he saw her lunge at him. He dodged, her teeth clicking together mere hairs away from his leg. He vaguely heard the other wolf call out, but right now the only one who held his attention was the she-wolf.
"This lubex called me PUP I'm not letting that go unpunished." Equinox snorted, "You think you can punish me, pup." He lifted a paw and aimed a blow at her skull, hoping to send her rolling into the snow. "Don't test me, pup. I normally do not shed the blood of my own. I prefer the blood of prey. But continue like this, over a GAME, and I will make sure you see the end of it."

Zelda jumps and snaps at the paw. She wasn't that easy to catch. This lubex was to slow in the snow. " Sometimes it's not size that wins the fight lubex, it's speed, which you just don't have in snow. Didn't you notice, that white wolf over there knew you were coming and waited till the last second to move. You were silly rolling in the snow." snickers. " I'm not so easy to catch lubex, you have to plow through snow why I can run on top. Face it you can't take me lubex."

Shiro could see that the other wolves did not stop. He was going to watch while another wolf would get hurt just because of a misunderstanding. He walked a few paces back into the forest. "This lubex called me PUP I'm not letting that go unpunished.," the white female called. His ears were flat against the back of his head.
The black wolf snorted at the response, "You think you can punish me, pup." He lifted a paw and aimed a blow at her skull. "Don't test me, pup. I normally do not shed the blood of my own. I prefer the blood of prey. But continue like this, over a GAME, and I will make sure you see the end of it."
Shiro couldn't watch what would happen next he looked away and down at the snow. He hated fighting.
He heard the clanking of teeth and then the white wolf spoke again, " Sometimes it's not size that wins the fight lubex, it's speed, which you just don't have in snow. Didn't you notice, that white wolf over there knew you were coming and waited till the last second to move. You were silly rolling in the snow." she snickered at him and continued to speak, " I'm not so easy to catch lubex, you have to plow through snow why I can run on top. Face it you can't take me lubex."
He started to back away away from the scene. 'I'm a coward,' he thought to himself.

Equinox snatched his paw out of her teeth, shaking it and spraying blood over her white coat. “It's summer, white wolf. There is not that much snow, not enough to make a difference anyways. You are letting yourself be goaded into acting foolishly. I call you pup, because you are my younger, by at least a year or so I'd guess. You are the one taking it as an insult.” He sat down and swept his ebony tail around his feet. He lifted the paw she had bitten and licked it, once, twice, choosing his next words with care and patience; unusual for him, but he truly did not want to harm the other.
“You have drawn first blood, fine. But maybe you would be willing to take a lesson? Try looking before leaping. If you had decided to wait, you would have seen that we were playing. If you had listened you would have heard us laughing. You decided to be the big protector of the glacier, when it was completely unnecessary.” He paused, once again licking a paw. “And now, knowing that, would you mind letting me pass so I can continue the game you have so rudely interrupted?”
